Can founded LAVCOM Partners in Barcelona in October 2023 on a simple idea. People moving their life or capital abroad should have one person who understands their whole file, not a different office for every step.
He studied sport and exercise science at Fenerbahçe University in Istanbul. For his final year he transferred to the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, where he graduated with first-class honours in 2023. He then worked as an estate agent at Coldwell Banker in İzmir, advising clients on buying, selling and renting property, and in 2024 he completed an internship at Karen Group, an industrial group in İzmir. In parallel, he co-founded a small vehicle-rental company in the United States. This is how he first saw, from the investor’s side, what setting up and running a company across borders involves.
In Barcelona he is completing a full-time MBA at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, with coursework in finance, economics, accounting and fintech. He graduates in October 2026.
At LAVCOM, Can runs the first assessment with every client and builds the plan with the partner lawyers and advisers in each country. He then stays with the client through documents, appointments and life after arrival. He works in Turkish, English and Spanish.
