What data we collect and why
- Contact form: name, e-mail, phone (optional), topic and message — to answer your request. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract.
- Pre-assessment: your answers are processed in your browser to show the result. They are only sent to us if you choose to leave your e-mail or request a consultation — to send you the result and prepare the consultation. Legal basis: your consent.
- Clients: if you become a client, the data needed to prepare and file your application. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
- Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies — aggregated usage statistics, collected with Google Analytics, to improve the website. Legal basis: your consent. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects. The pre-assessment gives general orientation only.
Who receives your data
- Our partner lawyers and advisors, when needed to handle your request or file, under confidentiality.
- Service providers that host the website and process form submissions on our behalf (such as our hosting and form provider), under data processing agreements. Some may process data outside the EU; in that case transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA), if you book a call through the calendar on our website: it processes the name, e-mail and answers you enter to schedule the call. The calendar is only loaded when you choose to open it.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited), only if you accept analytics cookies: it processes usage data such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and your device type. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
- Software tools we use to organise enquiries, prepare replies and keep client files in order, including AI-assisted tools (such as Anthropic’s Claude and Google Workspace). They act as our processors under data processing agreements, and every piece of advice is reviewed and given by a person from our team.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it or when filing an application you have asked us to file.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a client relationship are kept for up to 12 months. Client files are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the periods required by law.
