Invest, build a business and live in the USA
The E-2 treaty investor visa, real estate in Miami and Florida, and a US company set up and run correctly from day one.
For many entrepreneurs, the United States is the next step after Europe, or the first one. We work with a family-run real estate and relocation team in Miami and with a US-registered finance firm. Together they cover what an investor usually needs: a visa based on an active business, property that makes sense as an investment, and a company whose tax and accounting are handled properly.
Who does what
- Real estate and the E-2 visa: Xuma Miami · Miami Emlak, the Ertekin family’s firm in South Florida, run by Selçuk, Yeliz and Cesur Ertekin. They handle property purchases and sales, and manage the E-2 process through an investment in their own rent-a-car business, Xuma Motors.
- Relocation and property management: Yeliz Ertekin settles families in after the purchase and manages homes for owners who live abroad.
- Company, tax and accounting: Dr. Uğur Dahar and NovaCFO set up your US LLC and take care of bookkeeping, tax filings and banking.
- LAVCOM: we coordinate the whole plan and keep your European and US files consistent.
Who this suits
- Entrepreneurs from treaty countries who want to run a real, active business in the US rather than a passive investment.
- Investors who want US real estate as an asset, with or without a visa attached.
- People who already have European plans with LAVCOM and want their US company and tax set-up handled by the same coordinated team.

Frequently asked questions
What is the E-2 treaty investor visa?
It's a US visa for nationals of countries with a qualifying treaty with the US who make a substantial investment in, and actively direct, a US business. There's no fixed minimum by law — the investment has to be enough to make the business viable, which is assessed case by case.
Do I need to buy a business, or can I start one?
Either works. Our partners in Miami often structure the E-2 through an existing, operating business like their own rent-a-car company, Xuma Motors — which gives applicants a working business model with real numbers, rather than a plan on paper.
Is Turkey eligible for the E-2 visa?
The E-2 depends on your nationality having a qualifying treaty with the US — this changes over time, so we confirm current eligibility for your passport before you commit to this route rather than another one.
Can I buy real estate in the US without an E-2 or another visa?
Yes — foreign nationals can buy US property without any visa. It doesn't itself grant residence rights, but it's a straightforward way to invest, and many clients do it alongside or independently of a visa process.
Do I need a US company to buy property or open a bank account?
Not always, but many investors set up a US LLC for liability protection, tax planning or to hold the property. We assess whether that's worth it for your situation before setting anything up.
Who actually handles my file in the US?
Real estate and the E-2 visa process go through Xuma Miami · Miami Emlak, our real estate and visa partner in South Florida. Company formation, bookkeeping, tax filings and banking go through NovaCFO. We coordinate both sides so your visa, your property and your company stay consistent.
