M. Selçuk Ertekin is the founder and principal broker of Miami Emlak, which he co-founded with Yeliz Ertekin, the Ertekin family’s real estate and relocation firm in South Florida, which trades as Xuma Miami. Since 2010, the family has guided more than 150 Turkish-American families through buying property and moving to the United States. They have coordinated more than 70 US visa files. He has been president of Xuma USA since 2010.
Selçuk has worked for over 15 years with major Miami developers, including Lennar, CC Homes, DR Horton, Related, Dezer, Terra and Mast Capital. He specialises in pre-construction and luxury towers, and gives international buyers early access to launches such as Bentley Residences, Pagani Residences, Cipriani, Mandarin Oriental, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis and Faena. He also connects buyers with mortgage brokers who specialise in loans for foreign nationals.

- Real estate investment: research and selection of homes, pre-construction condominiums and income-producing property across South Florida.
- E-2 visa process: an E-2 route built on an investment in the family’s rent-a-car business, Xuma Motors. He manages the E-2 process from structuring the investment to the visa, together with a US immigration attorney.
- The whole transaction: negotiation, financing for foreign nationals and closing, coordinated with the immigration attorney and with NovaCFO for the company side.
