Who it fits
Owners and managers of companies outside the EU who want a presence in Spain.
What usually matters
- An established company outside the EU with real activity.
- A branch, subsidiary or group company in Spain.
- Transferred employees usually need at least three months in the group beforehand.
- Family members can accompany the transferred employee.
- Company setup and permits are planned together, in the right order.
When a company from outside the EU opens a branch or subsidiary in Spain, it can transfer managers, specialists and employees under the intra-company transfer permit. It is a natural route for business owners who want to grow into Europe and relocate at the same time.
What decides the file
The company setup and the immigration file have to be planned together: registering the branch, obtaining its tax ID, opening a bank account and documenting the transferred person’s role in the group. Our lawyers coordinate both sides so that one does not hold up the other.
This page gives general orientation. The right route and the exact requirements are confirmed only after reviewing your file.
